Spending most of her life in Kansas City, Missouri, Danielle attended Blue Springs South High School and soon after, Missouri Western University, where she majored in Convergent Media and Astronomy. Her passion for science and education lea her to be a physics and biology tutor full time for three years. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Science Education.

Danielle worked in a pediatric hospital for two years before the birth of her daughter and her career change to nonprofit STEM education charities from home. Danielle is an activist, blogger, public speaker, and freelance makeup artist. Danielle was Miss Missouri US 2010 and later Miss Midwest International. Her reigns focused on speaking about the lack of young females in the STEM fields.
