Kansas City Oasis’ Social Action Team is partnering with The Whole Person (TWP) for their “Planting Independence – One Yard at a Time” program. We will be assisting with general yard cleanup, including mowing, raking, weeding, and planting for TWP consumers who own or rent their home.

Yard maintenance can be a tough situation for people with disabilities. This helps TWP consumers get a handle on their yards and avoid unnecessary fines from the city where they live.

The exact location will be emailed/messaged to all people who have RSVP’d to the event after it has been assigned.

The Whole Person is a Center for Independent Living founded in 1978. They are a private, nonresidential, nonprofit corporation providing a full range of community-based services for people with disabilities.
