The home of tomorrow – it’s almost here. The idea of a house that talks with you and does as you ask has long seemed a far-off, distant dream and, while it’s taken us a lot longer than 1950s sci-fi novels would have predicted, and it’s not yet fully realized today, we’ve reached an important technological milestone that brings in some of the home automation we desire and sets the stage for further automation. Join us as we talk about the technologies available today for automating your home.

About the speaker:
Joshua is a software engineer by day and a tech enthusiast by night. The automation of the home – and the security considerations that lie therein – is a topic he’s pursued as the technologies supporting home automation have developed, matured and expanded over time.
