Sergio Moreno had everything a person could want – a good job, family, friends, health. But it turns out he had depression, too. Like so many others who struggle with mental health, he was stopped in his tracks when the disorder took over. In this intimate presentation, Sergio shares his unexpected journey through a depressive episode that took him off course, and left him in the middle of nowhere. He tells us about the people and the circumstances that helped him find his way and set him on a new path of recovery and wellness.

Sergio Moreno is a Clinical Pastoral Education student, training to become a hospital chaplain. He is a dharma teacher and meditation instructor at the Rime Buddhist Center. He is passionately outspoken about challenging the stigma of mental illness.
