SUMMARY:KC Oasis Volunteers at Scraps KC
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with fellow Oasians at Scraps KC! Their mission is to get used or excess art supplies and materials to artists\, teachers\, makers\, and scouts who can use them. They’ve diverted over 300 tons of material from landfills. \nWe’ll be volunteering in their warehouse by sorting inventory\, packing and grouping materials\, setting up displays and organizing things. \nThey ask that all volunteers wear modest clothing for the season and closed-toed shoes. Their warehouse is not temperature regulated\, so dressing in layers is highly recommended. You might also want to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. \nThey can accommodate up to 10 volunteers at a time and children as young as three may volunteer with their parent\guardian. \n*By participating in this event\, you agree to abide by the Oasis Code of Conduct (http://www.kcoasis.org/about-oasis/code-of-conduct/).
