Roger Pick

Roger Alan Pick (He/Him) started attending Kansas City Oasis in 2018. He was
immediately attracted by the Oasis Five Core Values and by the multidimensional
diversity of the Kansas City Oasis community. He is Professor Emeritus of
Management Information Systems at the Bloch School of Management at the
University of Missouri – Kansas City, and he is amazed at how quickly his
knowledge of information technology has become obsolete. He lives with his wife
on the shores of Lakewood Lake in Lee’s Summit, MO. They enjoy reading,
walking, traveling, and attending live theater. Their children are now adults.
Roger’s guilty pleasures include Al Yankovic, chocolate, cyberpunk, Grateful
Dead, MST3K, and Pokémon Go.
