Kim Krueger is the Marketing and Communications Manager at The Whole Person (TWP), where she has dedicated 12½ years. Her primary responsibility is to utilize various media platforms to promote and support TWP’s programs and services, benefiting individuals with disabilities in the Kansas City metro area. She consistently challenges herself to spotlight the organization’s daily efforts in advancing independent living for people with disabilities.
Beyond her role at TWP, Kim wears many hats: She is a freelance graphic designer, paper artist, workshop instructor, and entrepreneur. Her commitment has extended to multiple nonprofit organizations, including Project Equality, Johnson County Christmas Bureau, Covenant Network, Disability Mentoring Day Kansas City, and Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, where she volunteers and contributes her design expertise.
Kim’s heart lies in the realm of creativity, which forms the cornerstone of her problem-solving approach and personal philosophy. She draws constant inspiration from the narratives shared by her TWP colleagues, fueling her creative spirit.
Kim calls Olathe, Kansas, home, where she resides with her wife, Donna, and their West Highland White Terrier, Jackson. They are active members of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Looking ahead, Kim eagerly anticipates her retirement at the end of 2023.
