Featured speakers: John Cavin and Roger Pick, “Freedom From Religion Foundation”

John Cavin was born in Wichita and is relatively new to the KC area. He is a lifelong freethinker and has been a FFRF member since 2003 and a FFRF state rep since 2021. John, a tribal member of Cherokee Nation, is a WSU graduate and a medical technologist.

Roger Pick is Professor Emeritus of Management Information Systems at the Bloch School of Management at UMKC and he is amazed at how quickly his knowledge of information technology has become obsolete. He lives with his wife on the shores of Lakewood Lake in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
