Uzazi Village is a nonprofit organization devoted to decreasing health disparities in the urban core of Kansas City by decreasing prematurity, the leading cause of death for African-American infants, through education, support, and innovative care delivery models. Along the way, they hope to increase the quality of life for moms, babies, and families residing in the urban core and increase awareness and promotion of healthy lifestyles and empowering lifestyle choices.

They are MOVING their offices from 3647 Troost to 4232 Troost- just a few blocks down the road. They will rent a truck, load everything up, and take it to the new place. They will have juice and danishes in the morning and order pizza for lunch. This move has been many years in the making. Uzazi Village has become an integral part of our community & are thrilled to be increasing their space so that they can increase their capacity.

KC Oasis is excited to join with them in celebrating their move and helping them by providing manpower to assist them in this historic step for their organization!
