About James Morgan:
In 1992, tired of years of drug usage and unemployment, James had his life radically transformed when he prayed the “prayer of salvation” and committed his life to Jesus Christ. Less than three years later, after receiving an AA in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College, James moved from his home in Orange County, California to NW Missouri to plant his first church. With hard work and a bit of luck, the small bible study group that met in James’ basement grew to be a congregation of over 400 adults.
The 20 years after his “conversion” were spent leading mission trips to Russia, The Philippines and Nicaragua, writing and producing Christian worship albums, planting a second church of 600 adults in 2 locations, and teaching the Bible verse by verse on a weekly basis.
And something else happened during those 20 years… James slowly came to see that the bible was in fact not the word of God and that the fundamental doctrines of Christianity were not true.
It took 2 years for James to extricate himself from a life of full-time pastoral ministry. He now sells cyber-security solutions and lives with the love of his life in the city where he pastored for almost 2 decades.
