Community Moment: Veronica Brown
Musical Guest: Kadesh Flow https://www.kadeshflow.com/

Just prior to losing her mother to brain cancer in 2016, Charlie was hired by KCUR as an announcer. Little did she know, it would become the reason to get out of bed in the morning. Grief has taken her to many places, but the last place she thought she would end up would be grateful. And yet, she is. Charlie will share how grief has shaped the way she views the world and she engages with people, and has helped her to live in the moment.

About Charlie:
Charlie is currently an announcer KCUR and an editor at Andrews McMeel Publishing. She runs KCUR’s young friends group, Generation Listen, as a volunteer and also dabbles in improv and stand-up comedy.
