Break Every Chain is a coalition of community partners and volunteers that work together to bring awareness, education and collaboration to end human sex trafficking. Through strategic partnerships and awareness efforts, we’re able to find local people to meet local needs in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Our emphasis is on domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST).

Christi Miller is a community organizer. She has drawn skill learned from working with the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America at the local and state level to apply to human trafficking in Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. What started out as a fundraiser for a home for survivors has turned into a coalition. Christi knows we can’t do anything alone and this is all because of passionate people who are probably smarter than she is, and they have enthusiastically jumped in to do hard work.
She lives in Wathena, Kansas, with her husband, four girls, two goats, a cat and a dog. Her son gained later in life attends KU.
