The immune system may be the most misunderstood function of the human body. Sadly, when people don’t understand something, it leaves the door open for pseudoscience, which has serious consequences for public health. Join us for a layman’s overview of the immune system. Vaccinate yourself against pseudoscience and misinformation.
Leo d’Entremont is a biologist, Army veteran, EMT, published author, and avid karaoke singer who just happens to be a transgender man. His views on gender dynamics and sexism in western society are informed by the unique perspective of a person who has been treated as both female and male. He is currently working on a book about gender issues in America called “Other Side of the Fence.”
