Steve Sitton is the site administrator of the Thomas Hart Benton Home & Studio State Historic Site, a facility of the MO Division of State Parks. He grew up in Grandview, Missouri, and graduated from Ruskin High School. He received his B.A. in history from Drury College. Mr. Sitton began working for Missouri State Parks in 1994 at Deutschheim State Historic Site in Hermann, Missouri, as the tourist assistant. He was promoted to site administrator of Deutschheim in 2000 and transferred to the Benton Home as the administrator in 2001.
