The MindPower Foundation raises awareness, educates and provides mentorship to shift the culture and break the stigma of mental health in youth athletics. This talk will focus on how Caesar came to start this organization through sharing a bit of his personal story, as well as how he’s overcome the adversity he has faced.

He will also be teaching the audience two simple techniques on how to manage stress and anxiety through breathing and mental exercises. Growing up, Caesar struggled with chronic depression and social anxiety from a rough domestic environment. He experienced tremendous personal loss, that has molded him into the young man he is today.

Caesar is currently going into his first year of Teach for America in Miami-Dade county as a high school biology teacher. He is the Head coach of swimming and water polo at Mater Lakes Academy, and the co-founder of the MindPower Foundation.
