Sunday, June 16th, in lieu of Sunday gathering, Kansas City Oasis is going to see Shakespeare In Love! at the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. Bring your blanket or lawn chair, your favorite summer snacks, and some bug spray then come hang out with your community, in your community! Its open lawn seating, first come, first serve so plan to be there just a bit early to grab a great spot. Instead of our regular Sunday gathering, we will be putting together hygiene kits for Micah Ministry. Micah is a longtime friend of Oasis that feeds, clothes, and offers hygiene and medical treatment for Kansas City's homeless and working poor communities. If you are able, please bring empty prescription pill bottles, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. Trial-size or hotel freebies can also be used. Doors will open at 10:30 am if you would like to come hang out first. July 21st we are back to our regular Sunday gatherings!
